Antwerp Beer Passion Festival

Sample more than 200 specialty Belgian Beers at the Antwerp BierPassion festival!

Note: This event has already passed.

Antwerp is the world’s leading diamond city, and in the middle ages was one of the richest cities in the region. While you wait for the 21st annual Belgian Beer Passion Festival to start in the afternoon, you can admire the old-world architecture and explore the countless churches, museums, and squares. See the butcher’s guildhouse, built to resemble stacks of bacon, and Het Steen, a medieval fortification on the banks of the river Schelde which now holds a naval museum. Antwerp’s Diamond District is filled with countless jewelry shops, and sharp eyed people may even find the Vlaeykensgang, a hidden street housing some of Antwerp’s best restaurants.

Once the festival opens in the afternoon, you will have the chance to sample your choice of over 200 Belgian beers, including 38 brand new beers which have never been offered at this festival before. Zythophiles rejoice, this trip is for you!
