Kaiserslautern Outdoor Recreation invites everyone to join this self-paced cycling challenge. Hit the trails on your favorite two-wheeler and keep track of the kilometers logged from May 1 to Aug. 31, 2021.

Participants can attempt to reach 500, 1000 or 2000 kilometers during this time frame to be eligible for corresponding prizes. The top overall male and female cyclists with the most kilometers will be recognized with additional prizes.

This is a great opportunity to get out, enjoy biking, stay physically and mentally healthy while seeing the absolutely amazing country sides of Germany (and Europe; COVID permitting) on the countless biking routes and paths.

The challenge is open to all authorized MWR patrons.

To keep track of your hours, save this EXCEL LOG to your computer and fill out at the end of each week before submitting to Outdoor Recreation.

While you're out biking and collecting miles, you have the opportunity to earn the following prizes for your accomplishments:

• 1000KMs -- 1000KM Biking Jersey
• 2000KMs -- Bicycle Multi Tool
