All that is needed is a day pass, which can be purchased at Baumholder Outdoor Recreation. The Baumholder “No Fishing License” pond is stocked regularly with native fish.
Fishing gear is available for rent or for purchase at Outdoor Recreation.

$15 for a 3-fish limit and $25 for a 5-fish limit.
