That's where our Basic Training for New Parents class comes in! Designed to empower and equip expecting and new parents with essential knowledge and practical skills, this class is your go-to resource for navigating the journey of parenthood.
What You'll Learn:
- Basic Baby Care: Discover how to perform daily tasks efficiently-from diaper changes and bathing to feeding and dressing your little one. Mastering these essential skills your baby's arrival will help build your confidence as a caregiver.
- Comforting Your Baby: Learn proven techniques to soothe and comfort your newborn through different phases, including swaddling, rocking, and establishing a bedtime routine.
- The First Weeks at Home: Get expert advice on what to expect during those initial challenging weeks at home, including tips on managing postpartum recovery and adjusting to your new role as a parent.
- Safe Sleep Practices: Understand the latest guidelines for safe sleep environments and practices to reduce the risk of SIDS (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome). This knowledge will ensure peace of mind for you and your family.

Classes take place every 1st Wednesday and 2nd Tuesday of the month. They will not be held on Federal Holidays.
