The Award-Winning KMC Onstage and the African-American Heritage Committee of the KMC is pleased to co-host a staged reading to celebrate Black History in the arts Feb. 22 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at KMC Onstage Studio, Bldg. 3109 on Daenner Kaserne. This performance is free and open to the public. The staged reading of Act 3 of Lorraine Hansberry's groundbreaking classic play, “A Raisin in the Sun,” performance will start at 6:30 p.m.

There will be community potluck and Meet the Cast following the reading. Enjoy conversations with the cast and director about this powerful play, their experiences, and the history of Black excellence in the performing arts.
