Make your Winter 2025/2026 ski season truly epic! Spend MLK weekend with Army Outdoor Recreation at your choice of two great Austrian ski areas.
St. Anton am Arlberg is the "cradle of alpine skiing," offering a vast, connected experience as part of the Ski Arlberg region. With over 300 km of groomed slopes and 200 km of off-piste routes, it attracts skiers of all levels but is particularly famous for its challenging terrain. The resort also boasts a lively après-ski scene and a convenient village. For a different experience, the smaller Laterns ski area is perfect for families and beginners, with slopes located right outside the hotel. Non-skiers will enjoy the 3 km long sled run, and everyone will appreciate the hotel's breakfast and dinner buffets. A daily shuttle service from the hotel to St. Anton gives you the flexibility to choose where you want to ski each day.
Your trip will be hassle-free with Army Outdoor Recreation. A private bus will pick you up from either Pulaski or Smith Barracks, both of which offer free overnight parking and equipment rentals. Spaces are limited, and hotel deadlines apply, so reserve your spot for this MLK ski weekend today!

Army Outdoor Recreation makes it easy to have an epic ski season. Your trip starts when our private bus picks you up from either Pulaski or Smith Barracks. Both locations offer free on-post parking, and equipment rentals are always included with your trip.
Settle in and relax as we take you directly to your three-star superior hotel in Laterns, Austria, known as the "Sun Terrace of Western Austria." A delicious dinner buffet featuring fresh, locally sourced ingredients will be waiting for you upon arrival. Remember to bring travel essentials like blankets, pillows, power banks, and drinks to make your journey more comfortable.
Saturday and Sunday: Ski Days
After a fresh breakfast, you'll have the choice between two different ski and snowboard experiences. The Laterns ski area is right outside your hotel and features 11 slopes, a 3 km natural sled run, and conveniently located ski schools. For those looking for a bigger challenge, a short bus ride will take you to St. Anton am Arlberg, "The Cradle of Alpine Skiing." This vast area offers three interconnected resorts with a wide range of over 500 km of slopes, from beginner-friendly trails to epic off-piste runs like the Valluga "White Rush" descent.
Our daily shuttle provides the flexibility to explore both areas, and will return you to Laterns in time for dinner.
Monday: Return to Germany
After a final breakfast in the hotel you will load the bus to return to Germany. You should arrive at your starting point by the late afternoon.
