Old School rock band was founded at the end of 2007 by musicians from the Idar-Oberstein area, who have been able to gain several years of stage experience in various bands. The musical direction for the band was clearly set from the beginning: Rock and hard rock from the seventies to the present day should be the repertoire.

After the debut in 2008 , gigs followed on a wide variety of occasions. In the following years, Old School established itself as a permanent fixture in the Hunsrück area. Professional demo recordings of Old School have existed since 2009.

After several line-up changes, Old School will be back in 2025: Deddy Schwindling (lead voc., back voc.), Tanja Deskins (lead voc., back voc.) Michael Grossmann (guitar), Oliver Dillenkofer (guitar, back voc.), Karsten Hahn (bass, back.voc.), Ralf Wayand (drums)
