Landstuhl Youth Center: Where You Can Be Whoever You Want to Be!
The Landstuhl Youth Center (LYC) is a free, after-school program for military-affiliated youth in grades 6–12. Our center is a place to explore, create, and connect in a fun and welcoming environment. Whether you attend a DODEA, German, or homeschool, you're welcome to join us after school, Monday through Friday.
We offer a wide range of after-school opportunities that encourage leadership, creativity, academics, and recreation. We provide free snacks, staff-led activities like cooking and art, and access to video game areas. LYC also has a dedicated room for academics, offering homework help, math tutoring, and other high yield learning activities.

At the Landstuhl Youth Center, teens find more than after-school activities—they find a place to grow. Whether it’s building leadership skills, getting support with schoolwork, expressing creativity, or staying active with sports, every program is designed to help youth discover who they are and connect with others in a positive, supportive environment. Our programs are intended to offer positive alternatives that will minimize "at risk" behavior during parental duty hours.
We also host special events and field trips during seasonal breaks and school-out days. Please note: Trips do have an associated cost for parents.
