Unleash your inner fool and join the party at Germany’s biggest and most legendary Carnival celebration! On Rosenmontag (Rose Monday ), the historic streets of Cologne explode with color, music, and pure energy for a parade you will never forget.

Welcome to Karneval, Germany’s wild "fifth season" and its spectacular answer to Mardi Gras! Before the solemn days of Lent begin, Cologne throws the country's most iconic celebration. Picture this: a massive 8.5-kilometer parade winds through the city center beneath the iconic Cologne Cathedral, featuring over 12,000 participants, dozens of marching bands, and more than 100 elaborate floats famous for their sharp political satire.

Join the sea of costumed revelers, shout the traditional greeting "Kölle Alaaf!", and catch your share of Kamelle (sweets) and Strüßjer (flowers) tossed from the floats into the cheering crowds.

Cancellation Policy:

  • Cancellations requested 48 hours prior to trip departure will receive a 90% refund.
  • Cancellations made less than 48 hours prior to departure will receive a 50% refund.
  • There is no refund for no-shows or cancellations made less than 12 hours prior to departure.
     
  • In the event that a customer cancellation results in a fee charged to Outdoor Recreation, regardless of the date of or reason for that cancellation, the total sum of those fees will be passed along to the customer.
