Estimated Itinerary

Wednesday: Check in

After settling into your seat you will lean back and relax while your comfortable coach whisks you away to Plymouth, the place from where the Pilgrim Fathers departed England for America on the Mayflower. Don’t forget the essentials for your overnight ride.  Blankets, pillows, power banks, snacks and drinks will all help make your journey to Plymouth more enjoyable.

Thanksgiving Day: Plymouth and Thanksgiving Dinner

After arriving in Plymouth this afternoon and checking into your hotel, you will have time to visit the Mayflower Steps before Thanksgiving Dinner.  Along with the Mayflower Museum, Plymouth’s barbican and waterfront are home to the National Marine Museum, the Royal Citadel, the Elizabethan Gardens and the Plymouth Gin Distillery.  Your evening will be completed with a group Thanksgiving Dinner.

Friday: Stonehenge and London

On your way to London, you will have the opportunity to visit one of the worlds oldest and most mysterious monuments, Stonehenge. Steeped in myth and legend, this pre-historic monument is believed to be over 4000 years old and is featured in the ancient British folklore and the Arthurian legends.  Once you are checked into your hotel in London, you will be free to enjoy London’s nightlife, an evening at the theatre and sightseeing.

Saturday: Free time or Windsor Castle*

A city tour of London this morning will introduce you to London’s most famous landmarks and locations. In the afternoon, you can continue to Windsor Castle*, originally built by William the Conquerer and now the preferred weekend residence of Queen Elizabeth herself.  Whether you choose to remain in London for the afternoon, or visit the royal residence, you will enjoy your day in the capital city of the United Kingdom.
