On your way into historic Triberg, you will start your day with a visit to the Triberg Waterfalls, Germanys second highest waterfall, with a height of almost 500 feet. The natural beauty of the Black Forest is sure to bring memories of German Fairy Tales to the front of your mind.  When you enter the village of Triberg, you may feel like you’ve stepped back into old world history.  In olden times, Triberg was famous for watch making and remains a famous for Black Forest Cuckoo Clocks to the day.  Indeed, the Worlds Largest Cuckoo Clock can be easily seen in the center of town, right next to the notorious “House of 1000 Clocks”.  Other attractions include the pilgrimage church of Maria in the Fir and the Black Forest Open Air Museum.  Local culinary specialties include the Black Forest Ham and the widely recognized Schwarzwälder Kirschtorte, an often imitated but never truly duplicated dessert made with chocolate, cherries, cream and the local Cherry Schnapps.

  • Trip departs from Baumholder Outdoor Recreation at 6 a.m. and will pick up at Kaiserslautern Outdoor Recreation around 7 a.m.

Cancellation Policy:

  • Cancellations requested 48 hours prior to trip departure will receive a 90% refund.
  • Cancellations made less than 48 hours prior to departure will receive a 50% refund.
  • There are no refunds for no-shows or cancellations made less than 12 hours prior to departure.
     
  • In the event that a customer cancellation results in a fee charged to Outdoor Recreation, regardless of the date of or reason for that cancellation, the total sum of those fees will be passed along to the customer.
