Be part of the Carnivale celebrations in Venice, Italy!
While many cities have extravagant celebrations for the end of Lent, nobody does it better than the Venetians. On this special trip from Kaiserslautern Outdoor Recreation, you can experience Carnivale, the final weekend before 40 days of sacrifice, where it began, in Venice, Italy. After arrival at your mainland 4 star hotel you will easily transfer to the island city where the festivities will be going on all weekend. After a guided tour of the “original pedestrian zone” you will be free to explore this living museum however you see fit. Visit the glass museums on Murano, ride a water taxi or gondola in the Grand Canal, and shop on both sides of the Rialto Bridge. Regardless of what you do over the weekend, make sure to save plenty of time to be at Saint Mark’s Square, where several Carnivale events will occur throughout the weekend. You are even encouraged to bring your own costume and be part of the Best Masked Costume Contest at St. Mark’s Square.
The Venetian Carnivale Weekend is a once a year event and spaces on this trip will not last. Reserve yours today with Kaiserslautern Outdoor Recreation!
