Kate Cheka set to headline the Comedy Bouquet: A Comedic Celebration of Moms May 10 from 8 to 10 p.m. at the Kazabra Club, Bldg. 2057 on Vogelweh.

The show will feature Belinda Filippelli. Special Guests are Andrew Steiner & Francesca Maglione, husband, and wife from New York City.  KMC Onstage Managing Artistic Director Amy Barron Smolinski will host.

Headliner Kate Cheka

Described as having stylish comedy delivered with a great blend of joy and disdain, Funny Women Award winner Kate Cheka is a stand-up, writer and artist who has performed in eight different countries across four continents. Having begun her career in Berlin she is now a more regular fixture on the UK comedy scene. Other accolades include being a BBC New Comedy Awards semi-finalist 2022 and Funny Women semi-finalist and One to Watch 2022 and a finalist in the Berlin New Stand-up Award in 2019. ‘A confident set filled with surprising gags and an ability to put a clever, unexpected twist on newsworthy topics’ - Zoe Paskett, she began comedy to spite someone who once said, ‘I thought you were more fun’.

Feature: Belinda Filippelli

A native of New York City, Belinda brings serious Big Apple flavor to the stage and manages to be a near-impossible balance of hilarious, kind and badass all simultaneously. Belinda has a serious knack for turning hardship into humor, and her comedy weaves seamlessly through topics ranging from teenage pregnancy and dog ownership, to growing with a big family in a small apartment and rejecting Cougarhood.
Belinda has performed in NYC, Tampa, London, Brighton, Prague, Barcelona, Madrid, Berlin, Dubai, Amsterdam, Paris, Zurich and Basel and has opened for big-name comedians like Michelle Wolf, April Macie, Vir Das, and Liz Miele

Special Guests: Andrew Steiner & Francesca Maglione (husband and wife from NYC)

Andrew Steiner has performed all over the world, including Glasgow Comedy Festival, Iceland, Tokyo Comedy Bar, and sold-out shows at Rochester and Philly Fringe. His comedy blends surrealist storytelling with hard hitting jokes. He's also known for his viral Instagram videos, and as the lead in the film Suburban Pimp. His first comedy special Toast For Dinner is now in post-production.
Francesca Maglione is a Brooklyn-based comedian, flow artist, and burlesque dancer performing across the U.S and beyond.
