Covering the Bases Comedy Show (+Karaoke after)

John McCombs is the headliner for the evening's show August 23 from 8 to 10 p.m. at the Kazabra Club, Bldg. 2057 on Vogelweh. The show will also feature Nya Yeanafehn from Berlin, and Detroit comic Miky Burch.

• Tickets are $12 at the door
• Stay for the fun as karaoke happens after the show until 1 a.m.

The Kazabra Club will be serving up your favorite drinks, and Shawingz is open until 9 p.m. for chicken wings and burgers, ensuring that your evening is as enjoyable as it is hilarious. You are able to take your food to the comedy show area.

Host: Erin Crouch

Erin Crouch recently opened for Netflix comedians April Macie (USA) and Enissa Amani (Germany). Fulfilling a lifelong dream, she was paid by the German Ministry of Foreign Affairs to tell jokes about Germans in 2024. In addition, she has hosted and featured at Boom Chicago Amsterdam (2021 and July 2024) Utrecht International Comedy Festival (2022) and Summer Comedy Marathon festival in Ohrid, N. Macedonia (2023). She co-produces Festrogen, the annual women's comedy festival in Luxembourg (2021- present).

Headliner: John McCombs

John McCombs is a 11 year veteran of comedy and a 4 year veteran of the Marine Corps. His unique perspective intertwines the absurdity of an aggressive military background with realizing his shortcomings as a man who relies on Youtube to learn how to fix things. John has performed in 15 different countries over two European tours and has opened for Michelle Wolf (Netflix, Comedy Central) Tim Meadows (SNL) and is a regular at clubs in the Chicagoland area. He recently recorded his first comedy special in Tallinn, Estonia called "Make a Way."

Feature: Nya Yeanafehn

Nya is a Berlin-based stand-up comedian originally from NYC, known for sets about his hilarious stories, observations, and immigrant upbringing. Nya has also appeared in numerous films, TV shows, and stage productions.

Feature: Miky Burch

Miky Burch is a comedian from Detroit, Michigan. She has performed all over Europe, the US and Canada and is the founder of a monthly queer comedy game show held at Boom Chicago in Amsterdam.
