Dog Jog for Life

Sports & Fitness is hosting a free Dog Jog for Life Sep. 23 from 9 a.m. to noon on Landstuhl Post. Registration starts at 9 a.m. on the day of the run at the Landstuhl Fitness Center, Bldg. 3720 on Landstuhl Post.  

Run starts at 10 a.m.  This is a fun run. The first three adult finishers will receive a medal. Medals will also be given to the first three children, under the age of 10. Participants can walk or run the distance of 5km. Dogs, strollers, and families are welcome. 

September is Suicide Prevention Month. This year we are collaborating with the Coalition Empowered Community team in conducting our Dog Jog for Life. This event is to promote physical fitness, wellness, and offer a wholesome recreational activity in the Kaiserslautern Military Community to all its members including the 4-legged ones. Our dogs have a great impact on our health and this event is a great opportunity to spread awareness about Suicide Prevention. We will also be offering photo opportunity on site for all participants.
