Feldberg is called the “Cradle of German Skiing”, and is the home to the first German ski club and the world’s first ski lift. Feldberg is the highest German ski area outside the Alps, but don't let its lower altitude fool you! Feldberg’s 33 snow cannons will ensure snow covered slopes for your Family Ski Day. Whether you are introducing yourself to new ski equipment, or introducing the kids to a new sport, Feldberg is the place for you. Feldberg features many beginner trails while more advanced skiers and riders can challenge themselves on a World Cup ski run or on the kickers and rails in the terrain park. Non-skiers will find something to do, as cross country skiing, sledding, and ice skating are available.
