When you take this air travel special from Kaiserslautern Outdoor Recreation, you will already be in Spain and checking into your 4 star hotel while the bus trips to Spain are only just departing Kaiserslautern on their overnight drives. Your 30,000 square meter hotel complex features everything you need to start your summer, including 2 tropical pools, 2 heated pools, waterslides, childrens activities and more.  If that’s not enough to keep you entertained, the Playa de Lloret beach is only a kilometer away, and the Playa de Fenals and Playa Santa Cristina are also nearby.  Once the sun sets, there is plenty of party going on in Lloret de Mar where you have your choice of countless bars, restaurants, and discos. An optional day trip to and guided tour of Barcelona is also included, after which you can return to the beautiful beach, or remain in Barcelona for the evening and return to Lloret de Mar by bus or train.

Estimated Itinerary

Thursday: Fly to Spain

Flying to Spain will significantly shorten your travel time to Spain and give you the gift of having more time for Fun in the Sun on the Costa Brava.  Rather than an overnight bus ride, a short 2 hour flight will have you checking into your four star hotel in Lloret de Mar before dinner.   

Friday: Barcelona

Saturday features a tour of Barcelona. Since its redevelopment in preparation for the 1992 Olympic Games, Barcelona has become the worlds 12 most popular city destination in the world, and the 5th most popular city in Europe for travelers.  From the Columbus monument at the waterfront to the lookout terraces at the mountain top Parc Montjuic, the Catalan capital is packed with UNESCO World Heritage sites, churches and historic buildings.  Ornate and fantastic Catalan Modernista style buildings can be seen throughout the city, the most famous designed and built by Antoni Gaudi, including the ornate and world famous Sagrada Familia church.

Saturday and Sunday: Free days

You will know that summer has begun when you begin to explore the beaches and promenade of Lloret de Mar. Your four star resort complex, just one kilometer from the Playa de Lloret, will be your home base for a weekend full of fun in the sun.  Whether you spend your time at the waterfront, or stay at the hotel enjoying its pools, spas and waterslides, your weekend is likely to revolve around the water. At the countless water sports centers in Lloret de Mar, you will find JetSkis, paddleboards, kayak and other boat rental, SCUBA diving and much more.  The city center and waterfront are home to countless restaurants and bars with varied entertainment options for everybody, while the train station will allow you easy access to a short train ride to return to Barcelona or to visit the medieval village of Girona.

Monday: Return Flight

An afternoon flight from Barcelona to Frankfurt will allow you a relaxed breakfast and final morning in Lloret de Mar.  Your flight home will return you to Frankfurt in just 2 hours, shortening your return travel time considerably.

  • Double Occupancy: $999 per person plus any airline price supplements
  • Single Occupancy: $1199 per person plus any airline price supplements
     
  • 1 child sharing triple room with 2 adults: $799 per person plus any airline price supplements
  • Infant rates available upon request based on age and required room configuration.

  • Round trip transportation from Pulaski Barracks including airfare and airport shuttles

Cancellation Terms: 

  • 10% cancellation fee for all cancellations made on or prior to Wednesday, March 15
  • 35% cancellation fee for all cancellations made on or after Thursday, March 16
  • 50% cancellation fee for all cancellations made on or after Monday, April 24
  • 80% cancellation fee for all cancellations made on or after Thursday, May 4
  • 95% cancellation fee for all cancellations made on or after Thursday, May 11
  • 100% cancellation fee for all cancellations made on or after Thursday, May 18
     
  •  In the event that a customer cancellation results in a fee charged to Outdoor Recreation, regardless of the date of or reason for that cancellation, the total sum of those fees will be passed along to the customer.
