German Hunting Course in Baumholder-Registration

Baumholder Outdoor Recreation is hosting the German Hunting Course from August 24 to November 3, in Baumholder.

Register and reserve your spot by the first day of class, Aug. 24.

The course is an intensive 8-to-10-week program that covers all facets of hunting in Germany.

Cost is $250 and the Hunting, Fishing Sport Shooting (HFSS) Membership fee. Open to hunters ages 18 and older, who are U.S. citizens/I.D. card holders. Course participants earn a life-long hunting certification, which is valid throughout Europe. Limited spaces available for this course. During this course, participants will learn land management, game disease and harvest plans.

Class Schedule: Saturday & Sunday: 10 a.m.- 4:30 p.m.

This course involves:

• Field trips
• Reserve maintenance
• Shotgun, pistol, and long gun qualifications.

Required documents to be filled out:

• FBI Background Check
• Hunting Registration Form
• HFSS Membership (Fee Associated to length of Membership)

Participants will be required to take a German proctored exam comprising of Weapons Safety, Written exam, Oral exam, and Shooting. Once the exam is successfully completed, participants will be awarded a certificate of completion 215-145E.
