German Hunting Course

The German Hunting Course is an intensive program (approximately 8-10 weeks) which covers all facets of hunting in Germany. During this course, participants will learn land management, game disease and harvest plans, as well as earn the right to hunt and own firearms and a lifelong hunting certification. Hunting license valid throughout Europe.  Testing date may change due to Covid restrictions. Limited spaces available for this course.

Class Schedule: Tuesday-Thursday: 1800- 2100. Participants must attend all classes offered throughout the week in order to progress toward certification. This course involves:

• Field trips (2 Saturdays)

• Field maintenance on the reserve

• Shotgun, pistol, and long gun qualifications.

You will be required to take a German proctored exam comprising of Weapons Safety, Written exam, Oral exam, and Shooting. Once the exam is successfully completed, participants will be awarded a certificate of completion 215-145E*.

A Graduation Ceremony will be held depending on Covid stipulations.

Requirements to sign-up:

• Open to all hunters, ages 18 and older

• Open to U.S. citizens / ID cardholders
