German Hunting Course Registration

German hunting courses will be held:

• Aug. 12 to Oct. 18 in Kaiserslautern - Wednesdays and Thursdays from 6 to 9 p.m.

• Aug. 9 to Oct. 19 in Baumholder - Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Honoring German Hunting heritage through knowledge and skill. The German Hunting Course is an intensive program. Cost is $250 and membership fees. Open to hunters ages 18 and older, who are U.S. citizens/I.D. cardholders. Course participants earn a life-long hunting certification, which is valid throughout Europe. During this course, participants will learn land management, game disease and harvest plans. Participants must attend all classes offered throughout the week to progress toward certification. 

Course includes:

• Field trips & field maintenance 
• Shotgun, pistol & long gun qualifications
• Europe Hunting Certificate (must pass German proctored exam) 

Required background:

• FBI background check
• Hunting registration form
• HFSS membership +Hunting, Fishing Sport Shooting (HFSS) associated fees
• 18+ age requirement
• US citizen/I.D. cardholder

Participants will be required to take a German proctored exam comprising of Weapons Safety, Written exam, Oral exam, and Shooting. Once the exam is successfully completed, participants will be awarded a certificate of completion 215-145E.
