Through the lens of the local radiostation, OKKK, Greater Tuna gives us a comedic snapshot of life in Tuna—the third smallest town in Texas.
The day begins, as usual, with Thurston and Arles at the microphones broadcasting at 275 watts (at least when they remember to turn the transmitter on). You’ll meet Tuna’s hilarious cast of characters who have unique views on small town morals and behavior.
Twenty characters are played by two actors in a whirlwind of costume and personality changes, including Petey Fisk of theTuna Humane Society, Didi Snavely of Didi’s Used Guns and Knives, and Yippy, the pet of the week who cannot keep his trap shut. As Tuna’s citizens parade across the stage in all their outrageous and irreverent glory, they entertain us with their commentary on life, politics, and what makes them (and sometimes us) tick.
