Do your Christmas shopping at the world’s most famous Christmas Market, Nürnberg’s “Little Town of Wood and Cloth”

Nürnberg has strict requirements for stall holders ensuring your Christmas shopping is traditionally non-commercial. Plastic decorations and “muzak” are strictly verboten, and stalls compete rigorously for the best decoration. This traditional market features 200 stalls presenting Nürnberg spicy gingerbread, fruit loaves, bakery goods and sweets, Christmas tree angels, cribs, ornaments, candles, and toys.

At the nearby Children’s Christmas Market, “Hands-on" stalls invite little ones to take part in baking Christmas cookies, candle and glass workshops and many other activities, all which give children an opportunity to make small Christmas presents for friends and family. Warm up in the "St. Nicholas Haus" or the PLAYMOBIL activity play center, or any of Nürnberg’s many historic sites.
