The famous Portes du Soleil ski area is the second largest ski area in the world. Portes du Soleil, straddling the French/Swiss border, features terrain for everyone, ranging from beginner bowls to scary steeps, and is home to unique areas like the eco-friendly natural terrain park “The Stash”, extensive back country skiing, and the legendary Swiss Wall one of the steepest and most challenging trails in Europe! After an exciting day on some of the most challenging trails you will ever find, you will ski directly to your lodging at the Hotel Rayon du Soleil, a ski-in/ski-out hotel located slopeside, 1600 meters high, and at the bottom of 3 different chairlifts in the heart of the massive ski area. This trip is suitable for anyone, whether they ski or not, but will make any hard-core skier or snowboarder literally froth at the mouth dreaming of epic skiing on the steeps and deeps in this amazing area!
