Bicycle over 100 km along the banks of the Rhine River.
Picking up exactly where the April Rhine River Overnight Bike Ride left off, you will continue your journey along the Rhine River this 2 day bike ride, starting in Mainz and continuing approximately 100 km to Koblenz on predominantly asphalt trails which are mostly free of auto traffic. Spending the night in a riverside hotel in St. Goar will be the perfect end to your first day of biking, and allow you to wake up refreshed to continue your trip. On Sunday, you will continue downstream to Koblenz, ending your ride at the Deutsche Eck, where the Mosel flows into the Rhine.
This one way ride is mostly flat and family friendly, suitable for younger riders with the endurance for long distance bicycling. You won’t need to worry about carrying clothes and supplies either, a chase van will meet you at various points along your route and transport any unnecessary weight to the hotel for you, allowing your muscles to get the maximum performance.
Put down the keys, and enjoy the Rhine River Valley on this overnight bike ride with Kaiserslautern Outdoor Recreation!
