Nürnberg’s “Little Town of Wood and Cloth” strict requirements on Christmas stalls and vendors ensure a traditionally non-commercial Christmas environment where plastic garland and digitized “muzak” are verboten and competition is fierce for the award for best stall decoration.  Here you will find all the classics: Nürnberg gingerbread, fruit loaves, bakery goods and sweets, angels, ornaments and toys.  Rides and other activities will beckon from the sidelines, ensuring that nobody will be bored on this Christmas excursion.

But your day isn't done yet!

After a short bus ride warms you up and recharges your batteries, visit medieval Rothenburg o.d. Tauber, the German city most associated with Christmas.  Famous for it's medieval architecture and intact city wall, Rothenburg is also the home of Käthe Wohlfahrt's Christmas Village and well known “Reiterlesmarkt".  Don’t forget to visit the Torture and Criminal Museum and to try the local “Rothenburg Snowballs”.

Cancellation Policy:

  • Cancellations requested 48 hours prior to trip departure will receive a 90% refund.
  • Cancellations made less than 48 hours prior to departure will receive a 50% refund.
  • There is no refund for no-shows or cancellations made less than 12 hours prior to departure.
     
  • In the event that a customer cancellation results in a fee charged to Outdoor Recreation, regardless of the date of or reason for that cancellation, the total sum of those fees will be passed along to the customer.
