On this two-day ride, you'll pedal past historic marvels like Saarbrücken Castle, the hexagonal fortress in Saarlouis, and the massive Völklinger Ironworks. You'll also witness breathtaking scenery, including the world-famous Saar Bend. Enjoy two days of comfortably car-free riding on mostly paved paths. The generally flat, one-way route is suitable for riders with endurance, including families. Your hotel in Merzig includes a hearty Sunday breakfast to fuel your final day. A chase van will transport your luggage to the hotel, so you can travel light and focus purely on the ride.

What to Bring:

  • Comfortable, weather/cycling appropriate shoes and clothing including weather-proof outerwear
  • Bicycle and helmet (or use ours!)
  • Bag lunch/snacks and water/energy drinks
  • Credit/Debit card and Euro
  • Military ID

Cancellation Policy:

  • 10% cancellation fee for all cancellations made on or prior to Tuesday, July 14
  • 30% cancellation fee for all cancellations made on or after Wednesday, July 15
  • 70% cancellation fee for all cancellations made on or after Thursday, July 30
  • 100% cancellation fee for all cancellations made on or after Friday, August 7
     
  • In the event that a customer cancellation results in a fee charged to Outdoor Recreation, regardless of the date of or reason for that cancellation, the total sum of those fees will be passed along to the customer.
