Nowhere on Earth is more Christmassy than Salzburg!  

Featuring large Christmas Markets spread from one end of the beautifully decorated city to the other, you are never more than few steps away from a unique handmade Christmas ornament or gift. Exploring the City of Mozart during this special time is a treat for all due to the wide variety of choices you have.  Enjoy a  traditional Christmas Market at Mozartplatz, the medieval market at the 1000 year old fortress, or the intimate and cozy market at Schloss Hellbrunn.  When the smell of chestnuts, sausage and glühwein fills the air, no stomach can stay empty for very long.  When you tire of shopping you have limitless options to explore for the rest of your day.  Warm up in one of the countless museums or exhibitions, take the Sound of Music Tour, or sample the world famous Salzburg cuisine.

All reservations must be made through Army Outdoor Recreation or Webtrac. Sign up today by contacting:

Cancellation Policy:

  • Cancellations requested 48 hours prior to trip departure will receive a 90% refund.
  • Cancellations made less than 48 hours prior to departure will receive a 50% refund.
  • There is no refund for no-shows or cancellations made less than 12 hours prior to departure.
     
  • In the event that a customer cancellation results in a fee charged to Outdoor Recreation, regardless of the date of or reason for that cancellation, the total sum of those fees will be passed along to the customer.
