Elmo, Cookie Monster, Grover and Rosita are here to sing and dance and have fun with the audience! It's just another sunny day on Sesame Street, until they learn some big news from their friend, Katie: her dad, who is in the military, has been transferred to another base, and their family will be moving away.
This is hard news for Katie, who has grown very attached to her Sesame Street friends, and does not want to leave them. But over the course of the show, Elmo, Cookie Monster, Grover and Rosita help her to gradually come to see that they will remain friends despite the distance, that change is not necessarily a bad thing, and that she will make new friends.
Katie grows more and more optimistic, until her natually positive nature prevails and she feels confident in her ability to adapt, to make new friends, and to stay true to who she is.
You won't want to miss this free family event!
Show is primarily targeted to children aged 3-7 years old. Run time is approximately 35 minutes.
