Winter is coming, but ski season is already here! Army Outdoor Recreation makes it easy to go skiing and snowboarding in the Alps, with convenient departures from both Smith and Pulaski Barracks.

As Austria's largest glacier ski area, Stubai offers some of the absolute earliest skiing and snowboarding in Europe. With 35 marked trails, 26 modern lifts, and guaranteed snow coverage stretching above 3,000 meters, you are sure to find a run that fits your ability level perfectly. Beyond the 65 kilometers of groomed pistes, you can test your skills in the world-renowned Stubai Zoo snowpark, or take in breathtaking 360-degree panoramic alpine views from the TOP OF TYROL summit viewing platform.

During the ski season's pre-season, the Ski Express rolls to the highest resorts in Germany and Austria, including Stubai, Sölden, Ischgl, and the Zugspitze, ensuring you find great snow conditions long before the valleys . On every trip, you can expect:

Cancellation Policy:

  • Cancellations requested 48 hours prior to trip departure will receive a 90% refund.
  • Cancellations made less than 48 hours prior to departure will receive a 50% refund.
  • There is no refund for no-shows or cancellations made less than 12 hours prior to departure.
     
  • In the event that a customer cancellation results in a fee charged to Outdoor Recreation, regardless of the date of or reason for that cancellation, the total sum of those fees will be passed along to the customer.
