Speyer’s delightful Christmas Market is held in front of the “Old Mint” in the famous Maximilianstrasse, with a view of the romantic imperial cathedral. At the heart of the action are stalls hosted by eight towns twinned with Speyer from as far away as Rwanda. You can watch the artists and craftsmen at work in the marquees in the town hall courtyard, and can purchase any pieces that take your eye.
