Strasbourg, with its blend of old-world elegance and vibrant energy, makes the perfect setting for one of Europe's most prestigious wine tasting events.  Your journey will take you to the "Grande Île," a UNESCO World Heritage site, where the awe-inspiring Notre-Dame Cathedral stands at the heart of the historic district. Nearby, the charming district of Petite France enchants with its picturesque half-timbered houses, giving a taste of the city’s medieval character.

The Vignerons Indépendants de France, a collective of nearly 10,000 independent winegrowers, organizes an annual wine fair in Strasbourg.  Wine producers from the most celebrated regions of France—including Alsace, Bordeaux, Bourgogne-Beaujolais, Champagne, and Cognac—gather to showcase their wines, offering direct sales at exceptional cellar prices. Enthusiasts from all over Europe attend to explore new wines and stock up for the year ahead. Strasbourg is a highly walkable city, and this tour provides plenty of opportunities to shop for wine, visit the fair, or simply enjoy the city like a local. Start the day with a leisurely aperitif, then savor a hearty Alsatian lunch before spending the afternoon exploring. As the evening draws near, take a peaceful stroll through the town before heading home.

Cancellation Policy:

  • Cancellations requested 48 hours prior to trip departure will receive a 90% refund.
  • Cancellations made less than 48 hours prior to departure will receive a 50% refund.
  • There is no refund for no-shows or cancellations made less than 12 hours prior to departure.
     
  • In the event that a customer cancellation results in a fee charged to Outdoor Recreation, regardless of the date of or reason for that cancellation, the total sum of those fees will be passed along to the customer.
