Celebrate the harvest, Swabian style at the Cannstatter Volksfest!

Commonly known as the Stuttgart Bierfest, the Cannstatter Volksfest has grown from it’s beginnings as a harvest festival in 1818 to the second largest festival in Germany. Although well known as a beerfest, there are so many other things to do at the Cannstatter Volksfest that you may not get around to sampling every type of “liquid bread” available on the Wasen. Non-liquid highlights include the Black Hole indoor rollercoaster, the 60 meter Ferris wheel, the 66 meter Powertower freefall, over 200 different food, gaming, or shopping stands, and the massive 23 meter high Fruit Column.

If you are looking for a less crowded and more family friendly version of the notorious Munich Oktoberfest, look no further! The Cannstatter Volksfest is your answer. Reserve your space with Kaiserslautern Outdoor Recreation today!
