Commonly known as the Stuttgart Beer Festival, the Cannstatter Volksfest has grown from its modest beginnings as a harvest festival in 1818 into the second-largest festival in Germany. While famous for its massive, beautifully decorated beer tents, there is so much to see and do across the fairgrounds that you might not even make it to sampling every type of local "liquid bread" on tap.

Beyond the tents, the festival boasts world-class thrills, including the spinning Black Hole indoor rollercoaster, a towering 60-meter Ferris wheel, and the heart-stopping 66-meter Powertower freefall. You can also browse over 200 food, gaming, and merchant stands, all centered around the iconic 23-meter-high Fruit Column, the historic, landmark symbol of the Swabian harvest.

Cancellation Policy:

  • Cancellations requested 48 hours prior to trip departure will receive a 90% refund.
  • Cancellations made less than 48 hours prior to departure will receive a 50% refund.
  • There is no refund for no-shows or cancellations made less than 12 hours prior to departure.
     
  • In the event that a customer cancellation results in a fee charged to Outdoor Recreation, regardless of the date of or reason for that cancellation, the total sum of those fees will be passed along to the customer.
