Thursday Night Comedy Show

Prateek Srivastava headlines the Thursday Comedy Show August 21 from 8 to 10 p.m. at the Kazabra Club, Bldg. 2057 on Vogelweh.

Featured comedians are Shivani Davé and Shannan Hunt. The host is Erin Crouch.

Headliner: Prateek Srivastava

A headlining comedian originally from Chicago now in Los Angeles. His high energy and absurdist observations have captivated audiences all over the globe.  He was recently awarded Best Stand Up. Comedian at Cleveland Comedy Festival.  His Debut Comedy Album “Nick and Sheila’s Kid” reached #1 on iTunes and Amazon Best Seller List.

Prateek's comedy has been featured at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Limestone Comedy Festival, SF Sketchfest, Stand Up NBC, NPR, Amazon Prime, Cannes Independent, and WGN America. When he's not slinging jokes, he has appeared on sketch shows at Second City, Improv Olympic, the Den Theater and showcased for the United States Embassy of Poland.

Shivani Davé is an NYC-based, Indian American stand-up comic and writer from Boston. She performs at all the top clubs around NYC and the country and hosts the successful “Top 5 Comedy” show. She has featured in national festivals like the New York Comedy Festival, Boston Comedy Festival, and is a 2024 Ladies of Laughter finalist. Shivani has opened for well known comics like Dave Attell, Gary Gulman, and Bonnie McFarlane. Prior to her burgeoning comedy endeavors, Shivani was Division 1 tennis player and a corporate lickspittle in the healthcare technology industry. She started her comedy career writing sketch (at Magnet Theatre) and screenplays, which have been recognized in major festivals, such as the Atlanta Film Festival.

Shannan Hunt is a New York based comedian. She produces the Ha Ha Harvest Comedy Festival each November and is the producer of the hit live show Synchro-Niss With Me, a show that brings Synchronicity, stand-up and person-on-the-street together for a riotous good time!
