Barney Rivera headlines the Thursday Comedy Show Jan. 22 from 8 to 10 p.m. The Armstrong’s Club, Bldg. 1036 on Vogelweh Housing. Featured comedians are Sid Singh, and Local Guest Eddie Rojas. The host is Erin Crouch.

Headliner: Barney Rivera

Barney Rivera is a global comedian who has performed at comedy and entertainment venues around the United States and across the world. Based in Los Angeles, CA Barney has headlined in over 20 countries. Rivera has been featured on international television in China, Japan, was a guest comedian on CBS’s the Late Late Show, the streaming service Radii+ on the BD Freeman Show, delivered his own presentation and comedy performance for Tedx Talk, and most recently performed on Netflix is a Joke festival. He was also chosen as the best next generation comedian at the Singapore Comedy Festival.

Feature: Sid Singh

Sid Singh is quickly becoming a favorite all over Europe! He is the current head writer for BBC Radio 4’s Sikisa’s Border Control and the Reigning ‘Best Performer’ at the prestigious Edinburgh Fringe Festival according to the British Comedy Guide’s Comedian Choice Awards. He was also twice nominated for Best Show at the festival in 2023 and 2024. Previously he was a cast member at Boom Chicago, a writer on the BBC’s Muzlamic, and host of NBC’s Lit News.

Local Guest Feature: Eddie Rojas

Eddie Rojas is a Mexican American comedian and U.S. Air Force veteran who served for 8 years. Now based in Cambridge, his sharp observations, rapid-fire gags, and charming smile keep audiences on the edge of their seats. With appearances on BBC Upload, gigs at top clubs across the US, UK, and Europe, and recent competition wins, he’s quickly rising as one of England’s hottest new comedy stars.
