Challenge yourself on an action packed Memorial Day Weekend when you go Whitewater Rafting and Canyoning!
Difficult enough to satisfy everyone but the most extreme adrenaline junkies, whitewater rafting the 15 km class III “Imsterschlutt” rapids will be one of the wildest water rides you have ever ridden. Go for a swim in between sections of rapids or relax in the raft as you enjoy the beautiful alpine scenery as it floats by. Those daring enough can try tests of skill and balance on the raft itself. If that’s not enough, you can spend the afternoon experiencing other adventure options in Landeck. Hiking, biking, climbing, paragliding, and kayaking, or just rest and relaxation at your three star hotel while you recharge for Sunday’s canyoning excursion.
Canyoning is essentially hiking the bottom of a mountain gorge, but don’t let that deceive you. Canyoning requires a head for heights and a thirst for adrenaline. Whether you are rappelling down a cliff with the waterfall in your face, cliff jumping into a deep pool of pure alpine water, or riding a natural waterslide, you will follow the course of the water through the gorge. Our guides will help us navigate the canyon safely, and of course, you can always opt out of any individual obstacle.
This trip, guaranteed to challenge all but the most extreme, is the perfect way to jump into a summer of fun. Reserve your space today at Kaiserslautern Outdoor Recreation.
