- The CDCs operate from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday to Friday, while the SACs are open from 6 to 8 a.m. and then from 2:30 to 6 p.m.
The Kaiserslautern Child & Youth Services offers hourly childcare services.
The rate for hourly care will be $8 per hour for each child. This service is available at the Child Development Centers (CDCs) for children aged six weeks to five years and at the School Age Centers (SACs) for children in kindergarten through 5th grade, subject to space availability.
To use hourly care services, parents must first register with Child and Youth Services (CYS) through Parent Central Services and attend a parent orientation.
