This morning, our private shuttle will transport you from your choice of Pulaski or Smith Barracks directly to the airport. This afternoon—before bus travelers have even climbed into their coaches—you’ll already be poolside or strolling the golden sands of Santa Susanna. Enjoy a full afternoon and evening to settle into your four-star surroundings, explore the promenade, and enjoy your first Mediterranean dinner.

Friday: Barcelona’s Wonders & The Serrated Mountain

After breakfast, your immersion into Spanish culture begins. First, you'll head to Barcelona, the heart of Catalonia, to witness the city's unique architectural soul. You’ll stand before the towering spires of the Sagrada Família, Gaudí’s unfinished masterpiece, and see firsthand the intricate "Catalan Modernisme" that defines this global destination. From the vibrant energy of the waterfront to the historic Ramblas in the city center, your morning is a masterclass in European beauty.

The adventure continues this afternoon as you leave the coastline and ascend the "Serrated Mountain" to the Abbey of Santa Maria de Montserrat. Perched over 4,000 feet above the valley floor, this culturally significant monastery offers more than just history; it provides a profound sense of scale. On a clear day, the breathtaking panoramas reach all the way to the island of Mallorca. Today is yours to embrace the lifestyle of the Costa Maresme. Your 4-star resort is perfectly positioned directly on the beachfront promenade, offering immediate access to the golden sands of Playa de Santa Susanna. This vibrant walkway connects the entire resort area, making it easy to link up with friends from the bus group staying at their hotel just a short stroll away.

• For the Active: Visit the nearby water sports centers to rent jet skis, paddleboards, or kayaks. The crystal-clear Mediterranean waters also offer excellent opportunities for scuba diving and snorkeling.
