The Award-Winning KMC Onstage is proud to present three staged readings of Katori Hall's play, “The Mountaintop,” in honor of the Birthday of Martin Luther King, Jr. and Black History Month.
This powerful play imagines a fictional conversation between Dr. King and a hotel maid the night before his assassination, directed and read by members of the KMC Black Community. These readings are FREE and open to the public.
Dates and locations are:
- January 15, 6:30-8:30 p.m.: KMC Onstage Studio inside the Kaiserslautern Community Activity Center, Bldg. 3109 on Daenner Kaserne.
- January 21, 5-7 p.m.: Baumholder “Ironworks” Library, Bldg. 8332 on Smith Barracks.
- February 5, 6:30-8:30 p.m.: KMC Onstage Studio inside the Kaiserslautern Community Activity Center, Bldg. 3109 on Daenner Kaserne.
