Financial Help During PCS

Moving can come with unexpected costs, including deposits, travel, shipping, or temporary living expenses. ACS can help you:

  • Understand your PCS entitlements
  • Make a relocation budget
  • Avoid financial stress during your move

ACS offers financial readiness counseling and help with Army Emergency Relief (AER) if you qualify for emergency assistance.

School and Youth Support

ACS can connect you with the School Liaison Officer (SLO), who helps Families with:

  • Local school enrollment and registration
  • Finding school calendars and bus routes
  • Transferring records between districts
  • Special education resources

Housing and Transportation Help

Your local ACS can help you understand:

  • Temporary lodging options
  • On- and off-post housing choices
  • Transportation rules and shuttle schedules
